10th Sihanoukville International Half Marathon 2025 to Support Environmental Goals

The 10th Sihanoukville International Half Marathon promises to combine the amazing Cambodian coastline with a meaningful cause: protecting nature and promoting global well-being.

Why Sihanoukville? Why Now?

Sihanoukville is more than just a beachside paradise. Recently recognized by the International Club of the world’s most beautiful bays, it’s a destination that draws visitors for its stunning coastlines, culture, and now, an international race that champions the fight against pollution, climate change, and environmental degradation.

Following the massive success of the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon, Cambodia is extending its international running events to its coastal jewel. The goal? To raise awareness and funds for environmental protection while creating a memorable experience for runners from around the world.

Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a first-time runner, there’s a category for everyone. Choose from the Half Marathon (21km), 10km Race, or join the Fun Run/Walk for a more relaxed pace.

Registration Fees

The Half Marathon (21km) is open to participants aged 16 and above. For expatriates, the fee is USD 50 for early registration until January 9, 2025, and USD 60 from January 10 to February 20, 2025. Cambodian nationals can register for USD 32 during the early period and USD 36 thereafter.

The 10km Race is available for participants aged 13 and above. Expatriates can register for USD 35 until January 9, 2025, and USD 45 after that. Cambodian nationals pay USD 20 for early registration and USD 25 for late registration.

For those looking for a more casual experience, the 5km Fun Run/Walk is open to all ages. Expatriates can join for USD 25 before January 9, 2025, and USD 30 afterward. Cambodian nationals pay USD 15 for early registration and USD 20 for late registration.

Finally, the 3km Fun Run/Walk is also open to all ages. The registration fee for expatriates is USD 15 during the early period and USD 20 for late registration. Cambodian nationals can register for USD 10 early on and USD 12 after January 9, 2025.

Race Pack Collection

Participants must collect their race kits before race day. If you can’t make it, authorize someone to pick it up on your behalf by providing a signed letter and a copy of your passport.

The Sihanoukville International Half Marathon takes runners on a scenic course along Cambodia’s stunning coastlines. Starting at Ochheuteal Beach, the route passes iconic beaches like Victory Beach, Sokha Beach, and Serendipity Beach. Expect some challenging hills along the way, but the breathtaking views make every step worth it.

Safety First: Medical and First-Aid Support

First-aid stations and medical staff will be strategically placed along the route to ensure runners’ safety. Water stations will be available every 2km to keep you hydrated.

How to Get There

The race venue is easily accessible from Phnom Penh via the newly paved National Highway No. 4, making the 230km journey a breeze. For those flying in, direct flights from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville are available. Once in town, taxis and tuk-tuks will get you to Ochheuteal Beach within minutes.
