From America to Cambodia: U.S. Restaurant Week Launches with InterNations at Kando

On December 6th, InterNations Phnom Penh is teaming up with U.S. Restaurant Week 2024 to host an exclusive evening at the newly renovated Kando.

This collaborative event marks the launch of a 10-day celebration of U.S. agricultural excellence, with restaurants across Phnom Penh showcasing how premium American ingredients contribute to exceptional international cuisine.

The event, supported by the U.S. Embassy in Cambodia and USDA, is an opportunity to experience a custom menu curated by Kando’s talented chefs, highlighting the quality and versatility of U.S. produce. Guests will enjoy a vibrant evening of networking, fine dining, and a chance to connect with Phnom Penh’s international community in a unique and inspiring setting.

Whether you’re a food enthusiast, a professional looking to expand your network, or simply eager to experience the best of U.S.-inspired cuisine, this event offers something for everyone.

InterNations Ambassador Tom Starkey shared his excitement about the event, noting its significance as the fifth InterNations collaboration with other organizations this year.

“This partnership reflects the international nature of our events and the thriving expat community in Cambodia. It’s also a reminder of how much this community gives back to Cambodia, from cultural exchanges to business collaborations. I’m happy to be hosting and celebrating this unique blend of global and local connections,” he said.
