InterNations To Host Second Ambassador Anniversary Event January 24th at New Penh278

This event is extra special as it marks the second anniversary of InterNations Ambassador Tom Starkey, who has organized 23 successful events in just 24 months. This will be his 24rd event (on the 24th!), coinciding with both his anniversary and birthday. Tom has been instrumental in creating a vibrant and supportive community in Phnom Penh, making this a celebration not only of his milestones but also of the growing expat network in Cambodia.

“I have loved building this community over the last two years and to mark it by going back to the first-ever venue I hosted at will be a nice full circle. It will also coincide with my birthday, so it’s going to be a great night,” he said.

“We’ve grown our community to over 15,000 people on the international platform and nearly 1,500 in our active Telegram group. In 2024, we did 11 events in 12 months, hosting over 800 people and giving away 90 sponsored prizes. Our Telegram group grew by 600, and we collaborated on events with WIG, CBAC, CULT, the US Embassy, and more.”
