InterNations and WIG’s Riverside Extravaganza Set To Light Up Phnom Penh

Global networking community InterNations is joining forces with the Women’s International Group (WIG) to host a unique event that blends culture, art, and professional networking in a picturesque riverside setting.
The first-ever collaboration between these two international organizations aims to unite the global community in Cambodia’s capital, fostering meaningful cross-organization connections at The Waterside, a luxury bar and restaurant with stunning views over the Tonle Sap River.
Aside from networking, there will also be live art showcased by local female artist Daisyodia, florist decorations from SD Flowers & Beauty, a fun photobooth by Cambooth, and a range of gifts, vouchers, and prizes from local business sponsors, all to be won at the events famous lucky draw.
Tom Starkey, InterNations Ambassador and event organizer, expressed his excitement about the collaboration with WIG.
“This year I wanted to expand our community and reach, and collaborating with WIG – who have been fantastic to organize with – is another step in this vision. It also offers a unique angle to this month’s InterNations event and a great opportunity to spotlight the amazing women who are part of WIG and the great work the organization does for charity and the community,” Starkey said.

He also praised the choice of venue, noting, “Waterside is a really high-class venue, and to have free-flow food and drink options generously provided by the venue show that this is not a profit-oriented night but a community-focused, mutually beneficial showcasing of Cambodia’s rich offerings to the world.”
This much-anticipated event will take place on Friday, May 24th, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Guests can enjoy single-drink and free-flow drink packages, both offering 2.5 hours of free-flow food. Tickets are available for purchase at the door, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
For the lucky draw, participating businesses include NagaWorld, Rahu Restaurant, Element Vegetarian, Compas, Toss it, Mama Wong’s Dumpling & Noodle House, Bat Tuk Yu Beer Garden, and Despacito Phnom Penh Latin & Jazz Club.
Complimentary nights’ stays can also be won at Laguna Resort Koh Rong Samloem and Villa Borealis, with further discount vouchers on personal training from Drop Sweat Coaching and spa and wellness packages, making the event even more enticing.

“This inclusive event is open to everyone interested in expanding their professional network and immersing themselves in the local culture. Attendees can expect to meet C-suite professionals, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors, but most importantly, have a good time!” he added.
The event will take place from 6 pm to 9 pm on May 24th at The Waterside. Tickets can be purchased at the door, making it easy for anyone to join. For more information and updates on prizes and more, guests are encouraged to join the event’s Telegram group at: https://t.me/+20H9tPvmWVNmODU1.
