Our featured bars and restaurants in Cambodia section has been created by Khmer Nights to fill in a number of gaps in the market we currently see, as well to help out the embattled hospitality sector as we navigate our way through the current pandemic.

The Hospitality Industry in Cambodia is suffering

Not to put too fine a point on it, but with no tourists coming into the country and the frequent lockdowns and closures during to Covid-19 restaurants and bars are very much suffering.

Throughout all this madness though some great establishments have not only managed to weather the storm, but ambitious entrepreneurs have decided to take the risk and open, despite the obvious risks.

And it is because of all these factors that an idea was born.

Featured Bars and Restaurants in Cambodia

Cambodia Lifestyle have decided to do a regular featured bars and restaurants section, why have we decided to do this? Essentially there is currently no other publication, or site that is featuring local restaurants and bars, with those that want attention having to pay for adds. Of course during these times money for advertising is hard to come by, by running a featured bars and restaurants section we aim to give a platform and a voice to some of the people doing great things out there.

Secondly we as patrons tend to stick to what we know, particularly during the current crisis. By featuring great establishments  throughout the Kingdom we aim to help people spread their web of options for where they drink and dine. Knowledge is power who knows we might introduce you to a new favorite place?

How do I become a featured bar, or restaurant for Cambodia Lifestyle

At Khmer Nights we like nothing better than going out and scoring the land for the best new up and coming restaurants and bars, but we are certainly open to suggestions, be they from owners, or indeed patrons.

If you’d like to be featured, or you have an idea for somewhere that should be featured then please contact us by e-mail, or phone and we can flesh something out. We do not expect, nor do we take payment for featuring a bar, or restaurant, although we certainly have a criteria.

What is the criteria for being a featured bar and restaurant in Cambodia?

For this section we do not deal with the big guys, if you are a large chain, or franchise then you do not need our help. We are looking for independent bars and restaurants that offer something a little bit different, as well as an owner, or manager that is happy to talk to us and tell us what makes them special. It really is that simple.

So, if you have an idea then please feel free to get in touch. Most importantly though we hope you not only enjoy the series, but it helps out at least few establishments, as well as showing people some cool hidden spot o hang out in.
