Kumnooh Cambodia Arts listings Feb 8-12
Khmer Nights is proud to welcome Kumnooth as the compiler and namesake of our new weekly arts event update. Kumnooth is the sister publication of Lengpleng, the Kingdom’s leading live music news source.
Originally established in 2013, but dormant since August 2020, Kumnooth is active once more. Its weekly guide covers contemporary visual and graphic arts, sculpture, dance, architecture, cinema and some music. To subscribe to the Kumnooth newsletter, send a ‘subscribe’ email to fabianhipp@kumnooh.com. Kumnooth is a free service but donations are always welcome.

MHOPe, through March 3, Odom Garden
An open-air exhibition of a collaborative media project on food systems in Cambodia featuring work from photographers including Pidor Ham, Daniel Eang, Roun Ry, Mean Lux, Chansakun Chea, Ken Bo, Shunsuke Miyatake, Cindy Liu, Raphael Pech, Yann Bigant, Kim Sokvisal, Thomas Cristofoletti, Miguel Jeronimo and Joaquin Barata. Event will host food stalls, talks and activities.

The Body Electric, 10am Ikigai Arts Center
A physical theatre workshop presented by Shawn Thomas O’Docharty. The workshop will run Saturday, Feb 12 and 19 with two-hour sessions both daya. It will look at dance theatre, corporeal mime, mask work, theater of objects, puppetry, Commedia Dell’arte, tragedy, melodrama, buffooning and clowning.

Ny Vannak studio open house, St 51 just south of Wat Langka, near Embargo, 1-6pm
Exhibit will feature a collection of her current work, including a collaboration with poet Scott Bywater and photographic self-portraits a la Cindy Sherman. Refreshments will be provided.
