Where is open to travel in Cambodia in July?

Technically the whole country is open to travel, with there being no restrictions on internal movements in the country, but alas things are not exactly that simple. Siem Reap whilst open to travel is currently under a 10pm curfew, an alcohol ban, as well as still having some red zones. Although if you don’t drink and like early nights it would make a great time to visit and empty Angkor Wat

On June 3rd Kampot also announced a curfew and alcohol ban after there were a spike in coronavirus cases, although this has technically finished now.

The football season has also resumed in Cambodia – with the C-League announcing their July fixture list, which you can read here . Sadly fans are not yet allowed into stadiums so while you can follow the team, you can’t actually go into the matches.

Koh Rong is also still closed to tourists for all intents and purposes, which by our reckoning leaves visiting the seaside town of Kep as your best July travel option.
