CPL: Weekly Preview
Svay Rieng vs Vishaka, on paper, is the game of the weekend and one everyone will want to watch and be most excited about but if history of anything to go by it’ll be a cagey affair with Marcus Haber scoring a header on the 75th minute.
Prey Veng vs Angkor Tiger is surely a home banker so naturally Tiger will probably end up winning. Prey Veng inconsistency is what will end up costing them a higher finish but anything higher than 8th should be seen as succuss.
Tiffy Army vs Boeung Ket will see the return of Vathanaka much to the delight of many fans as they look to continue their resurgence under new management.
On Sunday Phnom Penh Crown vs ISI, for me, is the game of the weekend and a potential banana skin for Crown. ISI have shown everybody they’re here to stay and the top 4 is real possibility for them.
Kirivong vs Nagaworld wraps up the weekend with two teams out of form and both only having the HSC in January to look forward to.
Predictions
Prey Veng 3-1 Tiger
Tiffy Army 1-1 Boeung Ket
Svay Rieng 2-1 Vishaka
Crown 3-2 ISI
Kirivong 1-3 Nagaworld
